I attended sound artist, Maria Chavez’s London show at Cafe OTO. Chavez is an artist who experiments with turntablism. An artist who describes themselves as an abstract turntablist. Her work can be interpreted as the manipulation of playback technology and also the juxtaposed merging of human history as thoughts and sounds. I attended and found her work super meditative.
