14th May 2024 – Minnie Riperton is African-American Singer-Songwriter and famously produced the record ‘Lovin’ You’, a lullaby for her daughter. Originally trained in opera singing, the music industry struggled to genre artistry. Her solo album’s include Come To My Garden(1970), produced by Charles Stephney and Perfect Angel(1975) produced by Stevie Wonder.

Her vocal ability and contribution to expanding the ‘Afro Musical Identity’ have been very inspiring.
