Dear Senthuran: A Black Spirit Memoir is a 2021 memoir written by Nigerian author Akwaeke Emezi. Akwaeke Emezi is a Nigerian author writes a collection of non-fiction letters vividly discussing African spirituality, surgery and emotions of an aspiring writer.

After deciding each of our individual roles for our collaboration of composing a sonic narration piece, it was decided that my role was to write the narrative. For this, I began read a series of books to widen my interpretation of writing, particularly descriptive writing. I aim to take the listener on a vivid and unorthodox journey. I found that Emezi’s strong use of imagery and English language is strong reference for my the final text in this piece
